ZEDS DEAD PRESENTS: THE LIVING DEAD TOUR 2012

Fresh out the lab, Zeds Dead, a/k/a/ DC and Hooks, are at it again. the “dead” of winter marks the launch of their biggest most eclectic tour to date. Beginning on February 19 in Vancouver and running through the start of May, the LIVING DEAD TOUR see’s Zeds
Dead, Omar Linx, Araabmuzik, XI, Memorecks, Mat the Alien, and Knight RIderz, travel across North America by bus with over 70+ stops along the way – including festival appearances at Ultra Music Festival, SXSW, and Coachella.

“THE LIVING DEAD TOUR” will mark the debut of Zeds Dead’s previously unseen stage production, which is being designed by the same team that created Skrillex’s revolutionary live-show. This will be unlike any Zeds Dead live show ever before! got goosebumps yet? no?

With the addition of XI (flying in from Berlin to play his unique take on dubstep alongside the Living Dead Tour), Memorecks (the newest member of the Zeds Dead family and a soon-to-be-superstar), Mat the Alien (Canadian bass-music-hip-hop-Shambhala-scratch legend), and Knight RIderz (the funkiest glitch-hop duo Canada has ever produced), THE LIVING DEAD TOUR seeks to break down genre barriers and create an audio-visual experience that Zeds Dead’s friends and fans won’t ever forget!

With a heavy schedule of groundbreaking releases leading up to the tour, Zeds Dead shows no signs of slowing down. THE LIVING DEAD TOUR will be preceded by THREE new ZEDS DEAD EP’s and Mixtapes, one which will be 100% free. This pre-road sonic onslaught begins with the “ADRENALINE EP” coming January 23rd on Inspected Records, followed by a free collaborative mixtape featuring unreleased songs from ZEDS DEAD x OMAR LINX, followed immediately after by another ZEDS DEAD x OMAR LINX collaboration: an EP set for release February 28th, label to be announced. Not to mention their recent smash hits, “Rumble In The Jungle” on Diplo’s
MAD DECENT label and “Ruckus The Jam” on Steve Aoki’s DIM MAK Records.
