AS quintessential as the name suggests, Ministry Of Sound is arguably the most prominent clubbing brand on the planet – the centralized function of London club scene. It’s official. Conceived 20 years ago in the mould of NY’s Paradise Garage, MOS has remained the go-to place for those in London with a taste for ultimate clubbing professionalism.

With a soundsystem to rival them all, this clubbing complex is a space-age spaghetti junction of steely walkways that lead to box-shaped rooms crammed with bodies, swelling with sound. “It’s incredible,” gushes Benny Benassi. “When you go in, you have to walk through the crowd and you can feel the sweat. I always love to play at Ministry of Sound.”

Fresh from marking its 20th anniversary with an exhibition tracking the club’s history, Ministry looks forward to its birthday party in September.
